Wheel-by-Wheel RV Weighing Providers

Although Fifth Wheel Street. provides the convenient method of weighing your tow vehicle and towable at the nearest truck scales, our safety report can never substitute for the advanced weighing procedure consisting of wheel-by-wheel weighing. Whenever possible, weigh each wheel position at a location that provides the advanced towing safety report. Weigh your rig at one of the recommended RV weighing stations listed below. If the timing and place is inconvenient, don’t wait. Go to the nearest certified truck scale and weigh your rig. Rest assured, Fifth Wheel Street.'s intermediary weight safety reports provides the best self-help non wheel-by-wheel weighing option to weighing your rig.

Here is how the weighing is performed.

RV Safety & Education Foundation (RVSEF)
The safety education leader in the RV world offers wheel by wheel RV weighing services.

RV WEIGH - Mobile Weigh Station

Weigh-It Portable RV Scales
Weigh-It Portable RV Scales operate during the summer months in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada at KOA Campground. During the winter months they are on the road weighing in the USA.

SmartWeigh by Escapees RV Club (Available to all RVers) Includes permanent locations at Livingston, TX, Congress, AZ and Bushnell, FL.

Weigh To Go, LLC

Unfortunately, there are insufficient resources to weigh RVs with the best option across the country. Based on the estimated current annual weigh-ins by the above providers, it will take over 1,300 years to weigh approximately 9 million RVs on the road at least once. On the other hand, some providers have stated that when they're available at large RV rallies, only a very small percentage take advantage of this important resource. Some complain that the price of $60 (by some providers) for weighing is too expensive. The last time we evaluated the expenses, the cost of repairs after a type of preventable blowout cost many times more than $60. I encourage you to weigh your rig at least once by one of the fine providers above.
